Mangata Massage: Compassionate Care and Healing

Hi! I’m Mary Nougher, owner of Mangata Massage. I am a remedial massage therapist, an Accredited Lymphoedema Practitioner with the Australasian Lymphology Association and Lipoedema Australia, a Reiki Master, and member of the Association of Massage Therapists.

My journey in this field began in 2014 when I founded my business on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. These days, I share my time between the glorious mountains of Canberra, and the natural beauty of the NSW South Coast, continuing my passion for healing and wellness.

After making a significant career transition from an administrative background, I truly feel like I have 'come home' to this incredible profession. I am deeply passionate about what I do, and witnessing the positive changes in people after receiving lymphatic drainage, massage, Reiki, or thought field therapy is so rewarding. It never ceases to thrill me when clients say 'wow, my pain has gone!’

At Mangata Massage, we provide compassionate, evidence-based treatments including remedial/therapeutic massage, manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), compression garment measurement and supply, oncology massage, and scar therapy. Our mission is to support clients through all stages of healing—whether recovering from surgery, managing the side effects of cancer treatment, or seeking gentle relief from lipoedema, lymphoedema or other chronic conditions.

We recognise that every body tells a unique story, and we approach each session with professionalism, sensitivity and respect to ensure the best possible care for every client.

Massages are available in our tranquil clinic room, located at Northside Massage and Nutrition in Lyneham, ACT and on a fortnightly basis at Tuross Head, NSW. Additionally, I am fortunate to work with an amazing team of therapists who provide mobile massage to vulnerable and elderly clients across the Mornington Peninsula, the south-east Melbourne suburbs.
